Endless Lazy Days

Most of the time I would do anything for a milkshake, but never again will I get my wisdom teeth out. All I have done this week is sit in my bed, eat a liquid diet and hold ice to my chin…not an ideal week. I haven’t been able to attend school which, for me, blows. I have always loved school and as a dedicated student and Greek member I hold my academics in high regard, so missing school has been rough. Today however, I was able to get back to the grind. My first day back and I had to take a Spanish quiz, I am 80% sure that it is a failing grade. What can I say, no hablo espanol bien (something along the lines of “I don’t speak Spanish well” but most likely with poor conjugations). I ran a bunch of errands with my brother which was a nice surprise. My brother and I have never been the closest of siblings but we have begun to grow closer as of late. I will begin training for a Triathlon as soon as a heal from my recent surgery, and I think for the first time in a long time my brother is proud of me for that. It feels nice to have him supporting me, a nice change. The moral of this blog post is that lazy days give me too much time to think but at the end of the day I can always find something good that has happened.
