New and Noteworthy

In the past two days I have experienced many things that I consider to be small milestones in my life. We are currently in the middle of Senior Game for a fellow fraternity on campus. I helped write the serenade, but replacing the lyrics to Maragritaville with dirt we had on the boys. It has been a really fun experience in itself but I have been working with one of the fraternity men. Believe me when I say there is no romantic feelings involved. It has just been really nice to make friends with a new person that happens to be male and in a fraternity. I generally don't give boys the time of day so I feel like this is a small baby steps to a future including a family. I also spent the better part of the evening getting to know a classmate that I have to work on a project with. We got along well and just seemed to mesh. I won't confirm, or deny, any romantic feelings rising out of that.

I love sports. It's a well known fact that I don't like to miss a game. I have never been a huge fan of Basketball but I love any good sporting event atmosphere. I attended the men's Griz basketball game against Weber State, we won. It was wicked fun and I figured that living in a sorority I would find no issue finding someone to go with me, but I was wrong so I ended up going along. This is a big step because usually I would be afraid to do stuff alone and worry that it would be weird. I actually had a lot of fun.

This all leads me to running across another blog,http://fmts12.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/21-things-i-know-after-21-years-of-life/ that talks about the knowledge you have after your 21st birthday. In lieu of my birthday in 37 days I thought I should post it. It looks like I am right on track!
